Angraecum didieri (Baillon) Schlechter (1902)

Geographical origin:

It grows epiphytically in the forests of the eastern and Central Madagascar.
It is found at the altitude of 600-1500m and the winters in its habitat are cool and fairly dry.

Culture:

Temperate to hot, it needs a medium to high light level ( 15000 - 20000 lux.
If the leaves are not dark green, it means that you give it too much light.

It can be potted in a coarse mix, but because of its long spur it is better to mount it, and to water it daily during the hot season.

The original Angraecum didieri have greenish sepals, but today nearly all the Angraecum didieri that you can find are completely white....unfortunately this is the result of many crosses with other white angraecums...
